Global B2G & B2B e-Invoicing mandates continue to rise

Damian Leslie

What’s going on in the world of e-Invoicing? Quite a lot, as it happens.

B2B e-Invoicing mandates are now becoming a reality that many companies are having to adapt to, with countries like Italy leading the way. India and Portugal will also be moving in this direction very shortly so organizations of all sizes are realizing that they now need to react if they want to meet the strict deadlines associated with these mandates.

Over 50 countries are now mandating the use of electronic invoicing, particularly for Business-to-Government related transactions and the push to mandate both B2G and B2B e-Invoicing is having a dramatic impact on the adoption of related technology across Europe and beyond.

With so many mandates in operation, it can be difficult to keep up-to-speed with each and every new announcement. Would you like to know where these mandates are in place? We have created an informative whitepaper, that gathers together details on all of the active mandates that Order2Cash is aware of in one place.

Feel free to download a copy of our newly revised edition here: Global e-Invoicing and the need for greater interoperability.

We’ve collated as many details as we could find but invoice mandates are cropping up everywhere, so it’s possible that we may have missed one or two. If you know of any additional information that isn’t covered in the whitepaper, just drop us a line at and we will endeavor to update the information.
